MQQAMAT AL-HARIRI

The piece reflects the spirit of classical Islamic art, with fine details and an authentic heritage character, inspired by the illustrations of Yahya ibn Mahmud al-Wasiti, who vividly depicted scenes of daily life.
Maqamat al-Hariri is considered one of the masterpieces of literature from the Abbasid era. It was written by Abu Muhammad al-Qasim ibn Ali al-Hariri and consists of 50 maqamat (episodes), following the adventures of Abu Zayd al-Saruji, narrated by al-Harith ibn Hammam, as they travel across different cities. Some of the most well-known maqamat include the Baghdadiyya, Basriyya, Kufiyya, Dimashqiyya, and Halabiyya.
